The Indiana basketball program received more good news as five-star guard Caleb Love includes the Hoosiers in his top-six.

Indiana basketball experienced another welcomed development for its 2020 recruiting cycle today as one of the top players in the class has trimmed down his list of schools in consideration.

The number one ranked player in the state of Missouri for the class of 2020, Caleb Love, has announced that he has narrowed down his list of schools still in consideration to six.

The schools to make the highly coveted five star’s final six are Indiana, North Carolina, Missouri, Kansas, Louisville and Arizona. Texas was widely believed to be a finalist, but somewhat surprisingly missed the cut.

Of these schools that did make his list, expect Love to schedule an upcoming official visit with Missouri considering Love is the top recruit in the state. North Carolina originally had a visit scheduled with Love a few weeks ago that never came to fruition so it is safe to assume they’ll also receive a visit in the coming months.

Indiana still figures to get a visit with the Saint Louis native as his interest in the Hoosiers appears to be genuine. The 6-foot-3 and 170-pound point guard would be a marquee recruit for Archie Miller and company, and has clearly been a prioritized recruit in the 2020 class as he would make for a great point guard to follow Rob Phinisee.

However, it would not be surprising to see Missouri land Love, as he is a Missouri native and the in state school has yet to be cut from consideration. Indiana should also expect strong competition from Missouri and blue bloods such as Kansas and Carolina.
