Archie Miller and the Indiana basketball program put out another offer to the 2021 in-state class, making it their fourth offer.

The Indiana basketball program continues to put an emphasis on the class of 2021 in-state recruiting as Archie Miller extended another offer to an Indiana native.

Blake Wesley was the newest in-state target to receive an offer from the Hoosiers, when he announced it on Twitter on Monday afternoon.

Archie Miller had been tracking Wesley for the past couple of months when he first got a chance to see him up close during Indiana’s team camp earlier this summer. His interested continued when he attended the newly sectioned NCAA event in Illinois last week where Wesley participated. After a solid AAU season for G3 Grind on the Under Armour AAU circuit, averaging 11.8 points on 57 percent from the field and 45 percent from three, many schools began to take notice, as Wesley has received offers from Purdue, Butler, Notre Dame, DePaul and Ball State amongst others.

While Ball State may not rank up in the top schools compared to the likes of Purdue and Indiana, there is already a connection to the Cardinals. Derrick Wesley, his father, played at Ball State from 1984-1988 where he was a first-team All-MAC performer.

Wesley is an athletic wing who has the ability to stretch the defense past the three-point line as well as use his length to score over bigger defenders in the paint. While parts of his game resemble former Hoosier Troy Williams, he is much more under control on the offensive end of the floor.

The 6-foot-5 Wesley attends South Bend Riley, the same high school that produced current Hoosier wing Damezi Anderson as well.

It has been well publicized how talented and deep the 2021 in-state class is with eight players ranked in 247Sports top 150 in the country, and Wesley enters the ranks at No. 89.

With offers already out to Khristian Lander, Caleb Furst, and Trey Kaufman, Miller is continuing to put a priority on the 2021 class.
