Indiana Basketball: Hoosiers make list for four-star Jalen Bridges
The top-100 recruit trimmed his list to 10, including the Indiana basketball program, a place he wants to visit this fall.
Indiana basketball has received good news on the recruiting front for the third time in the past week, as top-100 prospect Jalen Bridges kept the Hoosiers in the running for his recruitment when he trimmed his list to 10 schools.
He announced his list on his twitter account.

IU has some recruiting momentum now for the 2020 class; on Friday, Culver Academy guard Trey Galloway became the first domino to fall for Archie Miller. Bridges would be a nice addition to the 2020 class for Indiana.
Jalen Bridges thrived on the Adidas Gauntlet this Summer, averaging 16.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Although he shot only 27.4 percent from three, his form looks pretty and he definitely has potential to grow into a much better shooter with some instructive coaching.
Bridges would also need to add weight to reach his full potential. He has good size for a small forward at 6-foot-7, but he only weighs 180 pounds. Thanks to elite strength coach Cliff Marshall, Indiana definitely has an edge in recruiting Bridges. There is arguably no one better than Marshall when it comes to helping athletes add lean mass and achieving their full athletic potential, it he has caught the eyes of many top recruits in the country.
One team you don’t see on the list that had been thought to be a frontrunner previously is Marquette. We discussed recently, how some shakeup surrounding the program could ultimately benefit the Hoosiers.
Bridges has improved tremendously over the past year, shooting up the 247 recruiting boards by almost 200 spots to land at No. 83. The small forward is from West Virginia and is a teammate of another IU target, Zach Loveday. Indiana only recently offered Bridges, and although it seems the recruitment of Loveday has gone cold for Archie Miller, the recruitment of Bridges may only be getting started.
