The Indiana basketball target put on a show at the USA Basketball mini camp over the weekend, proving to be one of the best guards in the country.

As five-star prospect and Indiana basketball target Caleb Love looks to cut his list this week, his game was on full display at USA Basketball’s July mini-camp in front of numerous scouts and coaches.

While Indiana had multiple targets participating in the event, it was Love who stole the show and has started to become a household recruiting name.

Rivals recruiting analysts Eric Bossi and Corey Evans were in attendance for the USA Basketball event and had a lot to say on Love’s ability, as Bossi named him one of the top standouts from the weekend.

"“The St. Louis product played as well, if not better, of any guard I saw on Saturday. He was setting the table for open looks, knocking down jumpers and also showed an extra gear of burst I haven’t seen from him. Easily the best I’ve seen him all summer as he prepares to make a list cut with programs like Arizona, Indiana, Louisville, North Carolina, Missouri and others in hot pursuit.”"

Both Evans and Bossi continued with his play on Sunday.

"“Known for his physical tenacity and athleticism in the backcourt, Love is evolving into the lead guard role thanks to his improved playmaking skills and also his ability to consistently make shots to the perimeter. He is an absolute blur with the basketball and remains at his best whenever he is in attack mode but seeing him take a vocal leadership mentality is definitely a step in the right direction.”"

Corey Evans chimed in on Twitter as well, saying Love was the most consistent and best player of the event.

Love is ranked No. 25 in the 2020 class and the No. 4 point guard in the country per 247 Sports. So far, Love has taken unofficial visits to Indiana, Louisville, Missouri, and Kansas, but the Missouri native is getting heavily recruited by North Carolina and Arizona as well.
