3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish

The Indiana-Notre Dame series has been a great one especially with the implementation of the Crossroads Classic, a basketball event hosted in Indianapolis that puts Indiana versus Notre Dame every other year.

In their most recent matchup from December of 2017, Indiana rallied from 13-point, second half deficit to beat the No. 18 ranked Notre Dame team in Indianapolis.

Though they are in different conferences, the in-state battle still runs deep, especially in family and friend groups growing up together.

With the Hoosiers set to play Notre Dame once again in the 2019-2020 season, we will await to hear from the participating school’s athletic directors as the member schools are in their last year under contract with the Crossroad Classic.

Indiana leads the way in the overall series, 50-22.
