4. Duke Blue Devils

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge has been a blessing to Indiana and Duke basketball fans. While Indiana has played Duke three times in the past five seasons, Duke won each of those games.

Despite those results, in 2017, the Duke Blue Devils came to Bloomington and into Assembly Hall ranked as the No. 1 team in the country and were considered overwhelming favorites. However, behind a inspired Indiana crowd, the Hoosiers kept the game close all night and lost by a mere 10 points.

While facing a blue blood program such as Duke is hard to come around, they have only faced 10 times dating back to 1987. However, Duke has won 7 of those matchups to Indiana’s 3 victories, including a final four victory over IU as Duke would eventually win the 1992 NCAA Tournament.

One of the best games in the matchup came in 2002 in the Sweet 16 when that overwhelming favorites in Duke, a 31-3 team, were taken down by a Jared Jeffries led Indiana team that went on to be National Runner-ups.

Let’s be honest, nobody likes Duke and everyone hates their fan base.
