Matt Cross (F; Brewster Academy)

Matt Cross is a 6-foot-6 power forward from Beverly, Massachusetts.

Cross shot up 40 spots in the 247 Composite rankings to No.79 this summer due to some solid AAU performances for BABC (MA).

He said he expects to come to a decision by the end of August, which could be good for Archie Miller and the Hoosiers.

The main competition in the recruitment for Cross comes in the form of South Carolina and Miami (FL), while Butler still remains in the mix.

Cross, however, did decide to take two more official visits, as he has a Florida and Texas A&M visit scheduled for the next few weeks.

This is a tricky prediction, but Indiana offers a position for Cross to come in and play good minutes right away at either the three or four spot. This, combined with the high profile of Indiana’s program compared to the other schools in his recruitment gives me hope for a commitment.

Prediction: Indiana
