Indiana Basketball: Predicting the 2020 recruiting class

Anthony Leal (SG; Bloomington South)

Leal, a four-star shooting guard out of Bloomington South, has been thought to be a Hoosier lean for quite some time. The reason for this boils down simply to geographic location.

Being from Bloomington, Leal is extremely familiar with Indiana University and has been on campus for numerous visits throughout his high school years.

Though his Indiana recruitment took some time to heat up, it has done such since the spring and neither have looked back.

Leal is also AAU teammates with Trey Galloway, another IU lean in the 2020 class, and 2021 guard Khristian Lander.

Don’t be surprised to see all three of them in the cream and crimson but especially Leal and Galloway come 2020. Indiana has a wealth of competition for the young guard, however, mainly Butler, Xavier, Stanford, and Cincinnati.
