What if college basketball had free agency? We take a look at what players the Indiana basketball program should sign if that were the case.

The Big Ten lost a lot of talent from a season ago, but that hasn’t stopped them from having some of the best returning players in the country this year. Michigan State, Maryland, Ohio State and Illinois all return a great amount of talent and will all compete atop the Big Ten this season.

For Indiana, they lost their top two players from a season ago and look to Trayce Jackson-Davis, Joey Brunk, and Armaan Franklin to try to fill that hole with their contributions this season.

Indiana still lacks a true senior leader on their team and have had injury problems plague the roster over the past couple of seasons.

With the NBA offseason in the midst of their free agency, it made us think; what if college basketball had free agency? And who could the Hoosiers possibly sign?

Trying to make this scenario as realistic as possible, we are not going to say they should sign guys like Cassius Winston, Kaleb Wesson, and Jalen Smith, because well, that just isn’t realistic.

The Big Ten still has a lot of players who can help Indiana, and help them in a big way.

Here are five players that Indiana should look at signing if college basketball had free agency, the way the NBA does.
