The Indiana basketball staff is once again on the road this upcoming weekend as another open evaluation period beings.

Lynn Greer III is a name most Indiana basketball fans may not know much about, but Archie Miller and Co. have made Greer a priority over the past couple of weeks, and once again Greer will be going up against some of the best talent in the country.

This upcoming weekend is another open evaluation period for players and coaches over the summer and Rivals recruiting analyst Russ Wood appointed Greer as a player to keep an eye on this upcoming weekend.

Wood had this to say about the 6-foot-1 point guard.

"“As much as I enjoy watching B.J. Boston play, I’m most looking forward to watchingLynn Greer III. I have only seen him in a couple of games and he left me wanting to see more. Especially with how efficient he is in ball-screen action.”"

While Indiana hasn’t officially offered Greer, they are one of five schools recruiting him the hardest according to the Philadelphia native. He recently included the Hoosiers in the list of five schools he was in communication with most, with Villanova, Florida, Wake Forest and Miami (FL) as the others in the mix.

The point guard position has been a point of emphasis with the Indiana staff this summer and while they are still involved with guards R.J. Davis and Caleb Love, it looks like they could strikeout on both, leaving the position wide open.

Greer is a fluid athlete with great control of the offense and is able to dissect the defense out of the pick-and-roll. He has a good mid-range game and the ability to knock down the three as well.

Playing for Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL circuit this season, he averaged 8.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.3. assists per game. After a brief stay at Oak Hill, he transferred back to Roman Catholic (Pa.) where he averaged 14.2 points and 5.3 assists in 18 games as a junior following the transfer.
