Offense

As mentioned before, the offense is and should be the strength of the team when it comes to talent and experienced players.

Despite losing a lot  on the offensive line, there are a couple players returning that have experience up front which will be needed with an explosive running attack returning this year.

With a talented and experienced wide receiver core back, it will be on Peyton Ramsey, or whoever is under center, to get them the ball and allow them to make plays with their feet.

Stevie Scott (RB, Sophomore): The returning 1,000 yard rusher looks to have another terrific season in his second year in Bloomington. Scott set Indiana true freshman records with 1,137 yards, 228 attempts, 10 touchdowns and six 100-yard games. He also ranked second amongst true freshman backs nationally in rushing yardage, 100-yard games and rushes, and then third in touchdowns.

2018 Honors: All-Big Ten Honorable Mention

Donavan Hale (WR, Senior): One of our breakout candidates this season, Hale becomes one of the top wideouts in the Big Ten to return. Ranking third on the team in receptions (42), second in yards (508), and first in touchdowns (6), Hale looks to improve in every category and be the go-to-guy for Peyton Ramsey.

2018 Honors: All-Big Ten Honorable Mention

Nick Westbrook (WR, Senior): Another proven wideout returning for Indiana, Westbrook looks to return to his 2016 form after suffering a torn ACL on the first play of the season in 2017. Though he did have a team high 590 yards last year,  he spent most of the season trying to get his footing back underneath him. Look for a healthy Westbrook to become the 1,000 yard wide receiver that he was three seasons ago.

Coy Cronk (OL, Senior): The 36 game starter in his Indiana career comes into this year as the most experienced man up front. A 2016 Freshman All-American has been part of the terrific offensive line that has led to a very effective offensive attack, ranked in the top-40 nationally in passing yards per game each of the last two seasons and in the top-25 in first downs from a season ago.
