The NBA Summer League is underway with it’s first stop in Utah for a three day event that will feature a former Indiana basketball star.

It is truly the heart of the NBA offseason as free agency is set to begin on Sunday night, and the summer league right around the corner. That means fans get to see their favorite college stars begin their professional careers and that starts Monday for a former Indiana basketball star.

Juwan Morgan, who went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, signed a summer league deal with the Utah Jazz just hours after the completion of the draft and is set to be on the court when they begin play on Monday.

While Morgan’s contract is only guaranteed through the summer, his performance is not only an audition for the Jazz, but for every NBA team who will be looking to fill up their roster ahead of training camp in the fall.

The 6-foot-9 forward’s biggest question mark surrounding his ability to play in the NBA is his consistency from three as well as how effective he can be at playing on the wing. Though he has decent enough size to play the power forward position, if he could also provide a team quality minutes on the wing as well, he would become a hot commodity on the free agent market.

Included on the Jazz summer league roster is Yale standout Miye Oni, and North Carolina’s Tony Bradley, who was part of the 2017 National Championship roster.

The Jazz are one of four teams in the three day event that includes the Cleveland Cavaliers, Memphis Grizzlies and San Antonio Spurs.

Below is the full schedule for the Jazz:

Game 1: Mon, July1, Grizzlies at Jazz,  9:00 pm ET
Game 2: Tues, July 2, Cavaliers at Jazz, 9:00 pm ET
Game 3: Wed, July 3, Spurs at Jazz, 9:00 pm ET
