Indiana Basketball: Top NBA prospects on the Indiana roster

An incoming junior at 6-foot-4, the third-year guard will likely be looked at by NBA evaluators as a combo guard.

An energetic and vocal leader who is set to have increased work load this coming season will have many opportunities to show how his game has progressed since declaring for the draft following his sophomore season.

As the second highest three-point shooter on the team at 35 percent, he increased his shooting percentage nearly seven percent while shooting it at a significantly higher rate. His team leading free throw percentage at 74 percent would also be promising for scouts as it is indicative of his jump shot’s development.

While he may lack some size to go up against larger guards at the NBA level, his length will surely help him transition and bring his defensive skills to the next level. Another area that would need to improve would be his off the dribble playmaking ability.

As an undersized shooting guard, Durham needs to show scouts that he can score the ball consistently despite his size, but needs to show his aggressiveness most, averaging less than seven shot attempts and just two free throws per game last season.

While his defensive ability is there, he will need to hone in on a specific skillset offensively and continue with his aggressiveness to have hopes of making it into the NBA at the next level.
