Conference: Mid-American (MAC)
2018 Record: 4-8

Injuries have derailed the Cardinals the past couple of seasons leading to only six combined wins over that time.

While the optimism around the team would have been higher if it weren’t for the transfers of starting QB Riley Neal and RB James Gilbert, there is still hope with a healthy year, they could compete near the top of the conference.

Drew Plitt enters as Neal’s assumed replacement and he is coming off of a 2018 season in which he had three starts, combining for 773 yards, five touchdowns and six interceptions in those games.

This is the season opener for both teams when they play in Lucas Oil Stadium.
