11. Eastern Illinois Panthers

Conference: Ohio Valley Conference (OVC)
2018 Record: 3-8

A new coach is roaming the sidelines for the Panthers after spending 15 seasons at Northwestern.

Adam Cushing enters looking to build an FCS powerhouse who made the playoffs back in 2015, but will have to do so without his leading receiver and rusher from 2018.

It’s always good to have depth, but sometimes there can be too much.

The Panthers return three quarterbacks who have starting experience. Scott Gilkey Jr., who made five starts back in 2017 comes back to join Johnathan Brantley and Harry Woodbery, who combined for 27 touchdowns for Eastern Illinois in 2018.

Overall, they return just three starters on the offensive side of the ball, so consistency next year may be their weakness with a lot of first-time starters in the lineup.
