The Indiana football program picked up another 2020 commitment from a talented prospect out of Michigan.

It was another great recruiting steal headlined by Mike Hart as the Indiana football program secured a commitment from three-star prospect Lemuel Neely-Watley.

Neely-Watley committed to Indiana fresh off of his visit this weekend over the hometown favorite Michigan State Spartans and other schools such as Boston College, Iowa State, Kentucky, Syracuse, Washington State, and Cincinnati.

The Michigan standout was teammates with another Indiana 2020 commit, Rashawn Williams, last year at Martin Luther King H.S. Neely-Watley however, will spend his final year at Harper Woods.

While Neely-Watley plays both defensive back and wide receiver, there is a high probability that  he sticks to cornerback at Indiana after showcasing his corner skills at many camps. He still has the skills to play wide receiver in the Big Ten though.

Recruiting analyst Allan Trieu of 247 Sports had this to say about Neely-Watley after watching him at a game this past fall.

"“East St. Louis only threw at Lemuel Neely-Watley sparingly in the first half. In the 2nd half, they tried his side more and the 2020 prospect came away with two interceptions. He played almost exclusively wide receiver at East English Village Prep a year ago, but showed corner skills at camps and workouts. He is a playmaker who exudes confidence and still catches the ball like a receiver.”"

This is Indiana’s third commitment this month and seventh overall commitment in Tom Allen’s 2020 recruiting class.
