A couple of Crystal Ball picks on 247Sports has the Indiana basketball program in a good spot to land one of their top targets.

With the Indiana basketball staff looking to build off of another good in-state recruiting class, the 2020 class, while not as top heavy with stars, has a deep and talented class as well.

The Hoosiers will be losing Devonte Green and De’Ron Davis to graduation, both of whom should play crucial roles in 2019, so it’s important to find a couple of players that will be able to fill their role immediately in 2020.

One of those players who could fill the role in the 2020 class is Trey Galloway.

Indiana has always been in good shape with the 6-foot-5 shooting guard, but recently their positioning with Galloway has become better. 247Sports’ Crystal Ball has seen three new predictions this week from Brian Snow, Mike Peegram, and Andrew Slater, all of whom have picked Indiana for Galloway. Overall, the Hoosiers have all five picks for the Culver Academies guard.

Galloway was on campus for an official visit at the beginning of June and talked about his relationship with the staff, and how his visit went.

"“It was a really good (visit),” Galloway said. “I got to spend time with the coaching staff. The players weren’t there right now because they (were) on break, but it was good to spend time with (the coaches) and talk to them about Indiana basketball and what they are trying to build with that program. It was a great really experience being on campus and kind of getting a feel of Indiana basketball.”"

Not only was his official visit successful, he was also on campus again for Indiana’s team camp last weekend, and with the new predictions coming all this week, it is interesting timing to come out.

While Galloway is one of the top prospects in the state, he is also AAU teammates with Anthony Leal, another top target for the Hoosiers. If one of them were to commit, it could result in a commitment from the other.
