Former Indiana basketball guard Will Sheehey is set to join Jordan Hulls overseas as he signs a contract in the Basketball Bundesliga and FIBA Europe Cup.
While the NBA offseason is about to take off, a former Indiana basketball player is joining his teammate to play overseas.
Will Sheehey is set to join Jordan Hulls on the s. Oliver Würzburg roster as part of the Bundesliga and FIBA Europe Cup.
Hulls took home two major honors after leading Würzburg to the championship round, winning MVP as well as Top Guard in the Europe Cup.
Now Sheehey is teaming up with his former Hoosier backcourt mate for the 2019-2020 season.
After winning the 2017 NBA D-League Championship, now known as the G-League, with the Raptors 905, Sheehey spent the last two seasons with Porto, a Portuguese club that competes in the Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol (LPB).
Last season with Porto, Sheehey averaged 18.2 points per game on 49.2 percent from three in 26 games.
Hulls and Sheehey played three seasons together and were apart of 68 wins and two Sweet 16 appearances during their time in Bloomington.
The former Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year, winning the award in 2013, averaged 8.6 points per game in his four-year career for Indiana, including a career-high 11.4 during his senior season.
Sheehey ultimately chose the Hoosiers to play his college ball over Michigan, Georgia Tech and Arizona State, and was one of two players in the Indiana recruiting class that year, along with Victor Oladipo.
