The Indiana basketball program is set to host two more teams as part of its 2019-20 non-conference schedule.

The 2019-20 college basketball season is still months away, but Indiana basketball fans are starting to get some clarity when it comes to their non-conference opponents.

Two new opponents have been announced with the addition of Portland State as well as Princeton, both to be played at Assembly Hall.

With the addition of these programs, the Hoosiers now have a non-conference schedule that also includes Arkansas, Notre Dame, UConn, and Florida State.

Turning out to be a very strong possible out of conference resume, the addition of Princeton, especially, continues to bolster their chance at quality wins.

Third in the Ivy League a season ago, they are almost always competing atop the conference, with their last trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2017. Their last two trips to the NAA Tournament, in 2011 and 2017, saw their season end in two, two-point losses to Kentucky and Baylor.

Starring for Princeton is Jaelin Llewllyn. The rising sophomore averaged 10.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists a season ago and looks to be one of the better players in the Ivy League in 2019.

Last season, Princeton lost 101-50 to No. 2 Duke but pulled off a win against No. 17 Arizona State on the road, 67-66.

For Portland State, they will play on November 9, and should be led by junior guard Holland Woods who averaged 15.0 points and 5.3 assists per game last season.

Playing two power-five opponents last year, Portland State lost at Oregon 84-57 and at Stanford 79-67.

They did however beat both Stanford and California back in 2017.
