Center: Scott May (1972-1976)

One of the best big men in the country throughout his college years, he still remains in Indiana history being part of the last undefeated team college basketball.

Part of the National Championship team in 1976, May averaged 23.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game that season in part of his 17.7 point, 6.6 rebound career average in three seasons in Bloomington.

During the 1976 National Championship, May score 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds in 39 minutes.

He finished his Indiana career with 1,593 career points, ranked 13th in IU history.

During his time at Indiana, May was named National Player of the Year in 1976, a consensus All-American in 1975 and 1976, and also won a gold medal as a member of the United States Olympic team in the 1976 Summer Olympics.

May was recently inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.
