No. 1: 2012-2013 (29-7; Sweet 16)

What could have been with this roster.

Touched on in No. 5, this roster was constructed almost identical to that year’s team with the addition of Yogi Ferrell.

Cody Zeller, Victor Oladipo, Christian Watford, Jordan Hulls, and Will Sheehey all returned for Indiana and looked to lead the Hoosiers to banner number six.

Throughout the entire season they were always one of the top teams in the country and ended up earning a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Entering the tournament ranked third in the AP Poll, the Hoosiers met their match at the hands of the zone defense of Syracuse, a team that made it all the way to the Final Four.

This season still stings for Hoosiers all over, as it had a First Team All-American and two of the top four draft picks come the 2013 NBA Draft (Oladipo, Zeller).

Indiana has yet to have a roster this talented since and are still looking to make another deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
