No. 2: 2015-2016 (27-8; Sweet 16)

This was definitely a Final Four type roster construction. They were deep, experienced and talented. And then an injury hit.

James Blackmon played in just 13 games this season, missing the rest due to a knee injury, something that was devastating to the team.

Led by Yogi Ferrell, an all-time great to wear the Indiana jersey, the Hoosiers were taken down by eventual National Champion Runner-Up North Carolina in the Sweet 16.

With four players in double-figures, the Hoosiers also had five players shoot over 40 percent from three.

Names like OG Anunoby and Juwan Morgan combined for just 7.3 points in barely 20 minutes a game.

Troy Williams and Thomas Bryant left for the NBA after this season, otherwise the following season would have been just as good, if not better.

This was the last Big Ten regular season title for Indiana.
