A top recruit in the 2021 class arrived on campus today for an Indiana basketball visit, his first to Bloomington.

A key target in the 2021 class, Luke Goode, arrived on campus for his Indiana basketball visit on Monday with multiple visits scheduled for the rest of the week.

Goode has been a prospect that the Indiana staff has monitored throughout the spring but this is the first big step in his recruitment for the Hoosiers.

Playing a year up for the 17U Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL circuit, Goode showcased his ability to compete at a high level playing against an older age group. He averaged 9.8 point per game, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists per game while shooting 38.5 percent from three.

Involved in his recruitment beyond Indiana are Xavier, Maryland, Ohio State, and Iowa.

The Fort Wayne native plays high school basketball for Homestead and a teammate of fellow Indiana recruit Caleb Furst on the AAU circuit.

Goode is a 6-foot-5 guard who can play either wing position with his length. He has a decent shooting form, but makes at a relatively high percentage from beyond the three-point line. With his size, he rebounds the ball good for a guard and his length lets him get in the passing lanes frequently.

The relationship is still in its early stages and since he is in the 2021 class, this doesn’t look like a quick recruitment at all, but he does have ties to Indiana.

Goode’s father, Craig, played defensive back and wide receiver at Indiana in the mid 90’s. Luke, a quarterback for Homestead, has made it known that he will play basketball in college.

247Sports has Goode ranked No. 69 in the 2021 class and the 13th shooting guard.

We will continue to monitor the visit and update you if an offer is extended.
