Get one guard transfer/late signee

I may not have included this goal on here 48 hours ago, but recent murmurs have said that Canadian guard Austin Van Zyl may potentially join the Hoosiers next season. Archie Miller recently said he isn’t worried about not using all available scholarships this season, saying he was excited at the opportunities they would provide next season.

However, the current roster is thin at guard, with only four backcourt members total.

If Indiana is affected by injuries like they were last season, then it could be a sticky situation. It would help to have another body to insure the backcourt so that they don’t have to live in constant fear of those injuries.

Getting Van Zyl would obviously fill this need, which is why I think it’s important Miller seals the deal with him.
