Many Indiana basketball targets saw their rankings move in the newest 2020 version of the 247Sports rankings.

In what is an extremely important recruiting class for Archie Miller and the Indiana basketball program, many of their targets saw a big move in their rankings.

Updated yesterday, 247Sports put out their newest 2020 rankings and while there was a big increase for some, others saw the opposite impact.

After multiple breakout performances in the spring session, here are how the top prospects rank for Indiana.

Biggest Jump: Matt Cross

Old Ranking:160

New Ranking: 89

Cross has had a terrific spring in the Nike EYBL Circuit averaging 23.4 points and 9.5 rebounds a game in 13 games for BABC (MA). After his recruitment shot up, it brought him on an official visit to Indiana this past week. The hybrid forward can play either the three or four and has a good shooting touch.

Biggest Drop: Anthony LealĀ

Old Ranking: 90

New Ranking: 115

The opposite of Matt Cross, Leal has had a bit of an inconsistent spring on the Adidas Gauntlet. He still remains the top prospect in Indiana, and is a terrific wing who remains high on Indiana and vice versa.

Other Notables:

The top point guard priority for the Hoosiers, Caleb Love, saw his stock rise slightly, up six spots to No. 26 in the class. As of now he is ranked as the No. 5 point guard in 2020.

Some other names who saw little movement were big man Dawson Garcia, who comes in two spots lower at No. 23, Nimari Burnett, six spots lower at No. 29, and Trey Galloway, up four spots to No. 123.

Two players who have had terrific spring seasons are R.J. Davis and Nijel Pack. With neither making as big a jump as expected, Davis up 10 spots to No. 102 and Pack up 28 spots to No. 181, size surely plays a role for the 6-foot guards.

D.J. Steward who had a breakout weekend when he had games of 37 and 46 points a couple of weeks ago, saw his ranking rise from No. 59 to No. 31.
