2. Maryland

One of the biggest winners of the offseason, both Jalen Smith and Anthony Cowan decided to return to Maryland for another season, two of the best players in the Big Ten.

While they lose one of the most dominant big men in the county in Bruno Fernando, the Mitchell brothers of Makhi Mitchell and Makhel Mitchell and Chol Marial come in and look to be a stabilizing trio to go alongside Smith in the front court.

The Terps will also return Eric Ayala, Darryl Morsell, and Aaron Wiggins, a nice compliment to the star power and youth for Maryland.

They have a real shot at getting to Atlanta next year and having a chance at cutting down the nets when it’s all said and done.
