No. 2: Anthony Leal

Leal, a 6-foot-5 wing, is the top ranked player in Indiana, and ranked No. 82 in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

At his size, Leal also adds great length to the wing. With his athleticism as well, he plays much taller than his height.

Not what I would call a knockdown shooter at this stage, Leal is an average to above average outside shooter. Sometimes relying too much on his shot, he has become much more aggressive when it comes to driving, using his size to his advantage. With his frame as well, 200 pounds, he needs to continue to work his way in the lane.

As of now he has offers from numerous schools including Maryland, Xavier, Stanford, Iowa, Butler, and Northwestern. Virginia is another school that is interested but have yet to offer.

A Bloomington native, Leal has many family ties to the Indiana program and has been on numerous unofficial visits to the campus and to games, especially.

He averaged 25.0 points per game along with 5.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists while leading Bloomington South to the Elite Eight in the state playoffs.

Leal is a must get in my mind in the 2020 class. Archie Miller has put an emphasis on winning the in-state battle when it comes to top talent, and he needs to continue that winning trend with Leal.
