Indiana basketball guard Romeo Langford has been slotted to be drafted anywhere from No. 9 to No. 20, showing not many people know what to think.

From a sure bet to be a top-10 draft pick to now a big question mark in NBA circles, there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding former Indiana basketball guard Romeo Langford.

Usually the NBA Combine is either supposed to help your stock or hurt it, but following the events last week in Chicago, there seems to be even more uncertainty around Langford’s NBA ability and where he may fall come June 26.

Just taking part in interviews and measurements, due to the cast on his thumb, what many scouts wanted to see, his shooting, was not on display.

The Indiana guard has proven to be a lethal offensive option when healthy and dealing with the thumb injury all of last season definitely contributed to his lack of consistency from deep.

Per NBA.com, they broke down the most common picks by mock drafts and Langford was slotted at 13 (Heat) twice, one of the least common draftees in the lottery.

At the NBA Combine, Langford spent time with ESPN’s Mike Schmitz, breaking down his game – both strengths and weaknesses.

For someone with such a great frame for an NBA wing, it is very unusual for scouts to be so inconsistent when placing someone of his caliber in the mock drafts.

While his shooting has obviously been an issue amongst most scouts, his drive and motor have also been a talking point as well.

In an interview with Pacers insider J. Michael, Langford continued to address that topic.

"“It’s just the way I look,” said Langford, who has the soft voice to match his buttoned-down demeanor. “You can ask the guys I played with. They know I’ve got it. I don’t feel like I’ve got to show emotion by yelling all the time to have that dog mentality. Look at Damian Lillard. He doesn’t yell all the time but nobody questions his passion.”"

Below are other interviews Langford had while at the Combine, including his full interview with ESPN.
