Indiana Baseball: Hoosiers head into Big Ten Tournament with high hopes

The Indiana baseball program is fresh off of a Big Ten regular season title and look to make it a sweep with the Big Ten Tournament starting up this week.

After a terrific final two weekends of the regular season that saw the Indiana baseball program win their first Big Ten regular season title since 2014, they now turn their attention to the Big Ten Tournament.

Taking place from May 22-26 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, the Hoosiers look to have a strong finish in hopes of being chosen to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament.

In the eight-team, double-elimination tournament, Indiana will face off against the No. 8 seeded Iowa Hawkeyes in their opener on Wednesday night at 5 pm.

Split into two brackets, in Indiana’s bracket includes (4) Minnesota, (5) Nebraska, and (8) Iowa. In the other bracket it goes as follows, (2) Michigan, (3) Illinois, (6) Maryland, and (7) Ohio State.
