A top Indiana basketball target in the 2020 class has set an announcement date for this Thursday, May 9.

A day before the last Indiana basketball target in the 2019 class, Lester Quinones announces, one of the players at the top of their list in the 2020 class is set to announce.

Ethan Morton of Butler, PA took to twitter to let everyone know of his intentions.

The four-star guard is ranked No. 41 in the 247Sports Composite rankings after continuing to rise in the newest update.

Being from the same area in Pennsylvania as head coach Archie Miller, they have built a strong connection through there, and he has been an intriguing prospect for the Hoosiers ever since.

At 6-foot-4, Morton was originally slotted as a wing player but as his game developed, he has become a very talented passer and playmaker, and has essentially morphed into a point guard.

A bigger lead guard, with good passing ability, underrated athleticism and an ability to rebound the ball, Morton makes a lot of winning and hard-nosed plays, something Miller loves to have out of his guards.

Miller’s first offer of the 2020 class, Morton has also been a high priority for the Purdue Boilermakers, a team that currently holds the only three Crystal Ball predictions made.

While it seems to be a two team race between Indiana and Purdue, both of which have received an official visit, Stanford is a third team that the guard visited, along with Michigan, Marquette, and Pitt being involved in his recruitment.
