2. Will this season be a culture changer?

This season is a big chance for Archie Miller to begin his legacy at Indiana.

He has had the opportunity to bring in guys to fit his style of play, and the number of leftover recruits from the Crean era is dwindling. This means two things: that the potential excuses for a lack of success are coming to a close, but also that this is a chance for Miller to have a clean slate.

One thing that has been lacking so far in the Miller regime is a strong, well-established and well-defined culture; a brotherhood of Indiana Basketball.

Miller’s ideal team is a bunch of tough, hard-nosed, hustle players that guard well and make the opposing team’s time on offense miserable. For this first time in Miller’s tenure, the roster is beginning to look like a team that can do just that. We have come a long way from the high-scoring and defense laxed philosophy of Tom Crean.

With the puzzle pieces beginning to line up, will this be the year that Miller can put them all together?

Will this be the beginning of a brotherhood of basketball that makes a name for itself with tough defense and hustle plays?

Only time will tell.
