After hosting another 2019 four-star guard over the last couple of days, where exactly does Indiana basketball stand in his recruitment?

Though Archie Miller is heavily routed in the 2020 recruiting class, he is still putting the full court press on a couple of 2019 recruits to finalize Indiana basketball’s recruiting class.

One of those players is four-star guard Lester Quinones.

Ranked no. 60 in the 2019 class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Quinones has been one of the hottest recruitments in the country in the late signing period.

With Memphis, Maryland, Michigan and LSU in his final five in addition to Indiana, Quinones has announced he will make his college decision on May 10.

In some recent news, while he was on his official visit to Bloomington, rumors have begun to come out that his Michigan official visit was canceled. It’s not 100 percent clear if it was a joint decision, or if one party instigated the cancelation.

As for his time in Bloomington, it started off by fans holding their breath as they saw him with a boot on and crutches, but he took to twitter to take away any concern.

Nothing out of the ordinary happened during the visit, but from early reports, he did love his visit and enjoyed getting to see the campus and basketball facilities for the first time.

With his ability to score, and more importantly shoot, Indiana would be a perfect spot for him, with ample playing time and a need for both.

No other visits are scheduled, so as of now it seems like Quinones will take the next few weeks to weigh the pros and cons.
