Indiana basketball guard Devonte Green to declare for the NBA Draft, per Ben Stinar of Amico Hoops.
Green has yet to sign an agent, and is still determining whether or not to sign with one. Under the new rules, players are allowed to sign with an agent and go through the draft process while still keeping their remaining eligibility.
Averaging 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists this past year, he really came on strong late in the season as Indiana was making their tournament push. In the last seven games of the season, Green rose that average up to 15.4 points per game while dishing out 3.9 assists per game.
The brother of current NBA shooting guard, Danny Green, Devonte is still weighing his options on his future, but signs do point on him ultimately returning to Bloomington for his senior campaign.
Already losing Juwan Morgan to graduation, the Hoosiers also saw star freshman guard, Romeo Langford declare for the draft a couple of weeks ago, an almost locked in lottery pick.
As a rising senior, Green will have up until 5:00 pm on May 29 to withdraw his name from the draft and return to Indiana.
If invited, the NBA Draft Combine will take place May 15-19, giving him ample time to make a final decision on his future.
