Damezi Anderson Takes A Big Step Forward

A player whom people tend to forget about is Damezi Anderson. Anderson was mostly inserted into the lineup during garbage time, and he only played in 21 games the whole season.

Indiana could really use some improvement from Anderson. He was positioned just outside the top 100 in high school, so he has talent, but it was clear during last season that he needed a little time to grow.

However, Indiana desperately needs shooting, and shooting is Anderson’s hallmark.

Anderson will have the whole offseason to develop his game with the goal of getting meaningful minutes.

It isn’t crazy to expect that he comes back next season with a more well rounded game and gives the Hoosiers some much-needed shooting. There is a wide-open role with his name on it should he improve enough to take it. It is my expectation that he will.
