Archie Miller is on the road as he visits 2021 five-star guard Kristian Lander, working on the future of Indiana basketball.

Indiana basketball head coach Archie Miller is staying busy this offseason as he is on the road again visiting another talented prospect.

According to reports, Miller will be in to visit Reitz School guard Khristian Lander today.

A five-star recruit in the 2021 class, Lander is ranked 18th by 247Sports Composite rankings.

At 6-foot-1, he isn’t going to blow you away with his size, but it is his length that makes him that much better than other guards his age. A good shooter, Lander also has the quickness to get in the lane and finish through contact.

Making a visit to Atlanta over Final Four weekend for the USA Basketball training camp, Lander was able to practice and play against some of the best players in the 2020, 2021, and 2022 recruiting classes.

Offered by Indiana in September, he already holds offers from Kansas, Kansas State, Purdue, Ohio State, Iowa, and Illinois.

At the underclassmen All-American game in March, Lander scored 13 points while earning Co-Most Valuable Player honors in the East’s 107-90 win over the West.

In a recent interview with Rivals’ Corey Evans, he broke down his relationship with the Hoosiers and what their pitch is, describing Assembly Hall as “[crazy] It is a crazy atmosphere in there”.

"“They are telling me that they want me heavily and they are going to keep watching me and seeing how I develop in the coming years. It is a really, really big deal to me that I got an offer my sophomore year; not too many people get that opportunity. It is a crazy atmosphere there. Anytime they do anything, they can tip a pass, anything, they are going to go crazy for.”"

With AAU season getting started, Lander will play for Indiana Elite on the AAU circuit.
