Conclusion

I think Romeo Langford’s success in the NBA depends nearly entirely on his mindset. He’s got awesome athleticism and physical form with some great skills to match, but assertiveness is what will cause his game to blossom.

A reasonable expectation for Romeo is to be a starter throughout his career. Perhaps he could reach an All-Star game or two if he fulfills his potential.

Comparison

Ceiling: George Gervin, Joe Johnson

I don’t think Langford will come anywhere close to Gervin in his NBA career, but go watch some vintage Gervin highlights and tell me you don’t see the similarities in play style. Johnson is more likely as a talent ceiling.
