Weaknesses – Shooting

While we’ve already talked about Langford’s room for improvement as a three point shooter, he has a long way to go.

As of now he never has the same mechanics or form on every shot, and that is a major reason for his inconsistencies.

Also, never really on balance when he shoots, it’s not a good combination with inconsistent form on his jumper.

Though he got better late in the season, shooting 35 percent from three in his last 10 games, it was offset by 11 games throughout the year where he attempted two or more threes, making zero attempts.

At this point in time, however, the NBA team who picks Langford will draft a player who needs improvement from the outside, no matter his potential.

There isn’t much more to say about it other than if he wants to be a great scorer in the NBA, he needs to consistently knock down his threes, plain and simple.
