After Indiana basketball freshman guard Romeo Langford declared for the NBA Draft, we take a look at the strengths and weaknesses of the lottery pick.

To no one’s surprise, Indiana freshman shooting guard Romeo Langford declared for the NBA draft today. He finished the year averaging 16.5 PPG, 5.4 RPG and 2.3 APG. Currently, ESPN has Langford at #11 on their list of top draft prospects.

It was an up and down season for Indiana, and Romeo Langford followed the same trend.

He showed flashes of extreme potential at times, but he displayed certain ineptitudes as well.

While his scoring ability was always there, his aggressiveness and assertiveness was questioned at times.

Langford possesses many great skills to be an NBA star, but like most freshman in college, he lacks the necessary tools to ensure he gets there.

The New Albany native will go on to have a successful NBA career, but has the ability to be much more than a role player on most rosters.

There are a few key strengths and weaknesses in his game that will affect how his game translates to the NBA.
