With his performance on Tuesday night, Juwan Morgan moved into the top 25 all-time scoring list in Indiana basketball history.

After scoring 21 points last night in their season ending loss, Juwan Morgan moved into the top 25 on Indiana basketball’s all-time scoring list.

Finishing his career ranked 24th all-time with 1,374 points, he passed Andrae Patterson (1,365) who played back in 1994-1998. Another notable name he recently passed was Verdell Jones III (1,347).

Calbert Cheaney still ranks first all-time with 2,613 points in his career, a number that may never be caught.

With a season average of 15.5 points per game, he finished his career with a 10.5 point per game average.

Two players ranked ahead of him that he spent part of his college years with are Robert Johnson (1,431) ranked 21st, and Yogi Ferrell (1,986) who ranks 6th on the list.

In his career, Morgan scored 20 or more points 18 times, including eight this season, while scoring 30 or more points three times. His career high of 35 points came this season against Butler in the Crossroads Classic.

Not projected to be much of a scorer though his first two seasons, Morgan stepped up his play in his final two years at Indiana, averaging 16.0 points per game.

Playing with the likes of Yogi Ferrell, Troy Williams, Thomas Bryant, OG Anunoby, Robert Johnson and Romeo Langford, you could make the argument that Morgan was never the first option on any of his teams.

After last night, Morgan also moved to 10th all-time in rebounds (757) and eight in blocks (138).
