By Alec Lasley
Indiana basketball awaits the announcement of five-star prospect Keion Brooks, which will take place tonight at 8:00 pm.
One of the biggest recruits in the 2019 class, Keion Brooks, is making his college announcement tonight at 8:00 pm eastern time.
Deciding between Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, and North Carolina, it is rumored to be down between two suitors in Indiana and Kentucky.
Ranked 23rd nationally by 247Sports Composite rankings, Brooks made official visits to Indiana, Kentucky and North Carolina, and multiple unofficial visits to Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan State throughout his recruitment.
Brooks will make his announcement in Fort Wayne, IN at St. Paul’s Lutheran School, which will be open to the public.
His announcement will also be live streamed through 247Sports live on CBS Sports HQ (CBS SPORTS HQ LIVE STREAM).
Joining Brooks for the announcement will be not only his parents, but also his two younger brothers, his friends, and his teammates at La Lumiere
The 6-foot-8 forward is playing his last season at the number one team in the country, La Lumiere in La Porte, Indiana, after attending Fort Wayne North for his first three years.
Current Indiana signee Trayce Jackson-Davis will be attending the announcement in support of his AAU teammate as well as good friend, while the other member of the Indiana 2019 recruiting class Armaan Franklin has yet to make a decision about whether or not he will attend.
Usually by now, news begins to leak out from a recruit’s camp of what the decision will be, especially with such a high profile recruit, but that hasn’t happened a lot with Brooks.
