The Big Ten tournament is set to begin play with Indiana basketball seeing their first action on Thursday, day two of the tournament.

The Big Ten has announced the seedings and bracket for the 2019 Big Ten Tournament, which will begin play on Wednesday. Held in the United Center, this is the 10th time the tournament will take place in Chicago, but the first since 2015.

Indiana came into the weekend knowing they would be anywhere from the 8-11 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, and after the results played out they received the No. 9 seed.

Matched up against the No. 8 seed, Ohio State Buckeyes in the second round, they will kick-off day two at 12:30 pm EST / 11:30 am CST.

The No. 1 seed wasn’t decided until Saturday, when the Michigan State Spartans took down the Michigan Wolverines to get a share of the Big Ten regular season title with Purdue. The Spartans won the tie-breaker and thus get the No.1 seed and a double-bye, taking on the winner of the Indiana – Ohio State game on Friday.
