1. Donavan Hale (WR, Senior)

As noted, the Hoosiers are very deep on the outside, with a lot of talent – both young and old – at the wide receiver position.

WIth names like Nick Westbrook, Ty Fryfogle, and Whop Philyor getting a lot of the offseason attention, Hale seems to be sliding under-the-radar, surprisingly.

Finishing third on the team last season in receptions (42), second with yards (508) and leading the team with touchdowns (6), Hale started eight out of the 12 games.

This season, with the departure of leading receiver Luke Timian, and another offensive weapon in J-Shun Harris, Hale is in store for a great season.

At 6-foot-4, he has great size for a number one target. Combined with his size is his great hands, a lethal combination as a wideout.

Despite not being the number one option for the Hoosiers over the course of his career, Hale has the consistency to be one. WIth seven games last year of 50+ yards, he also had nine games of three or more catches. Whether it be the long ball, four+ catches of 30 yards, or for possession, Hale is a threat all over the field.

A Big-Ten Honorable Mention player last season, look for Hale to breakthrough and be on the All Big Ten team when 2019 is all said and done.
