5.  The Health Department

For whatever reason, the Hoosiers have been saddled with a crazy amount of injuries over the last few years.

Every team deals with injuries, but Indiana has had more than their fair share.  I’m not sure if something needs to change in the strength and conditioning department- or if the Hoosiers just need some prayer and intervention.  But you would think this team would face less injury issues next season.  And if this year’s team had a healthy Hunter, Thompson, and Davis all season long- we would already be having a different conversation.

More luck in the health department next year?  Another reason to believe this team could/should be better off.

I know what you may be thinking… There are a lot of ifs here.  And that’s fair.  This year’s team hasn’t met my expectations, and there’s a chance next year’s won’t either.  All I’m saying is- It would be a big mistake to write off next year’s group simply because they’re (probably) losing Morgan and Langford.  In my opinion, there are some bright days ahead for Indiana basketball. Get ready.
