4.  Coaching development

Archie Miller is still working with most of Tom Crean’s leftover roster.  Let’s see what Miller and staff can do with a few years under their belt, and another recruiting class of their own.

His teams in Dayton were very solid on a yearly basis. It’s very possible that Miller needs his type of players to succeed at Indiana.  Does he need to get more creative with his offensive schemes?  Absolutely.  But don’t write this guy off.

His teams are 61-9 all-time when shooting 40% from 3. Adding a few more shooters and getting used to Big Ten style of play could work wonders.

We’ve seen the good and the bad this season with Miller, but his ability to keep this team motivated and engaged despite the last couple of months should mean something moving forward.
