CBS Sports came out with their updated 2019 NBA Mock Draft and Indiana basketball freshman Romeo Langford stays high on the draft board.

A consensus lottery pick, Indiana basketball’s Romeo Langford has seen his position in mock drafts range from anywhere from 5-13 throughout the season.

A new update from CBS Sports has Langford at No. 6 in the 2019 NBA Draft, going to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis is an interesting place for the Indianapolis native, as fellow Big Ten star and Indiana native Jaren Jackson Jr, was the Grizzlies first round selection a season ago.

The 6-foot-4 freshman has a consensus rank of 7th overall, if you combine the some of the other top mock drafts of NBADraft, ESPN, SI.com, The Athletic, and Bleacher Report.

Langford is averaging 17.1 points per game on 45.8 percent shooting, along with 5.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Throughout the season, Langford has been a prolific scorer at times, with 10 games of over 20 points, but has been ineffective and disengaged at times, taking 10 or less shots seven times.

Though he isn’t a dynamic playmaker for others, he is very serviceable on the ball with his decision-making.

At the start of the season, CBS Sports had Langford going No. 5 to the Dallas Mavericks, so dropping just one spot isn’t anything noteworthy.

If the Hoosiers, who are desperately hanging on to the at-large bid discussion for the NCAA Tournament, can make their way into the dance, Langford would be on the biggest stage, and move up the draft boards.
