Cons: He’s In Over His Head

Interpret this argument how you may, because different people mean it different ways, but it is something that I have seen non stop online.

People are under the impression that Archie Miller has no clue what he’s doing and that the stage of the Big Ten is too big for him.

Despite being an assistant coach for a Big Ten school, Ohio State (’07-’09), he has never been at the head of the coaching tree at a big time university, dealing with all that goes into running a top notch program.

He sometimes dials up poor in-game adjustments that the players can just ignore altogether.

In addition, his team’s out-of-timeout execution has been awful. At many times, it looks more like the issue isn’t a lack of talent, but a complete lack of cohesion between players, for which the responsibility goes to the coach.

Why would a new roster change this problem at all?
