Cons: Effort

Until the last couple of games, the players under Coach Miller played with no effort.

There was no pride taken in the name that dons the front of the cream and crimson jerseys. This led many people to believe that Archie had lost the reins on the team; that the players didn’t respect him and wouldn’t do anything he said.

You could argue that although the last couple of games have been more impressive, the previous ones were so poor that the bad far outweighs the good.

So far in his tenure, Archie Miller has suffered three of the top five worst home losses in Indiana basketball history, obviously effort has something to do with that.

The Minnesota game was certainly strikingly abominable in terms of the lack of effort given, but was it the player’s fault, or Miller’s?
