Indiana basketball has had a disappointing season, but part of the fan base calling for his termination may be getting ahead of themselves.

There is a lot of debate amongst the Indiana fan base about the degree of heat radiating off of Archie Miller’s coaching seat.

Some fans are adamant that patience is necessary even through a rough season and that Miller is the pathway for success in the future. Other fans think that Athletic Director Fred Glass shouldn’t even wait until the end of the season to fire Miller due to Miller’s complete incompetence as a coach. This was reflected by Google after the Purdue loss on Tuesday, when the Google search term “Fire Archie Miller” was trending at 100%.

It’s understandable to feel the need to be patient with a coach in just his second year at a program despite his struggles. It’s also understandable to be unhappy with a coach who heads a team that has lost 11 of its last 12.

Both perspectives are warranted.

After looking all across Twitter and the Internet for varying arguments for both sides, I am going to assess the strongest arguments from both camps for you to see and decide for yourself.
