Indiana, despite losing 9 out of the last 10 outings, still remains in the NCAA Tournament predictions as a part of the last 4 in.

Since moving up to an 11th seed ranking following the Michigan State win, the Hoosiers have continued to trend downwards, even falling out of the projections, but have now reemerged in the latest ESPN Bracketology.

Indiana joins Arizona State, Oklahoma, and Temple in the last four bubble and would face Oklahoma in a battle for the 13th seed in the Midwest region and Arizona State would play Temple for the 12th seed in the South region.

The other three teams currently ranked at the 13th seed are mid-major programs Murray State in the East region, Vermont in the West region, and Yale in the South region.

If Indiana can beat out the Oklahoma Sooners for the 13th seed, they would be tasked to play against a strong 4 seed in  Nevada that has consistently been ranked among the AP Poll’s top 10 and has lost only one game all season.  If the Hoosiers can get past Nevada, a rematch against Louisville or Minnesota would await them in the round of 32.

Indiana is technically the last team in the last four in, therefore making them the last program to even have the opportunity to play in the NCAA Tournament. They will have many chances to help improve and bolster their tournament resume, as four of their next seven games come against ranked Big Ten opponents.

Indiana will look to bounce back from a close loss to Ohio State when the team travels to Minnesota tomorrow for a 2pm tip-off.
