The Indiana football program hosted many recruits this weekend and one seems to have narrowed his list after his official visit.

Offensive line prospect, Tim Weaver, has narrowed his list to just two schools after his official visit to Bloomington over the weekend.

The Hellertown, PA native said he is down to Rutgers and Indiana, for where he will play college football next season.

"“I’d say right now it’s down to Rutgers and Indiana….The thing that matters the most to me is getting my education. I want to go somewhere that will set me up for the rest of my life.”"

Having made an official visit to Rutgers last month, Weaver will return there once more this upcoming weekend for an unofficial visit before making a decision.

Indiana, who has just recently become involved in Weaver’s recruitment has made him a high priority with offensive line being an emphasis in their 2019 recruiting class.

An interesting note, Weaver’s host for his official visit was Michael Katic, a freshman who just recently enrolled at Indiana this month. Having someone who just enrolled in the program, and having so much to say about the school, showed Weaver how much he could enjoy Bloomington.

"“He loves it. He would not stop talking about how much he loved it out there…..It’s [the campus] just absolutely beautiful. That was the main thing I noticed. I had to take a step back and say, ‘Wow, this is a really beautiful place.’ “"

The Hoosiers currently have just three offensive lineman either enrolled or committed, and 19 total committed players in the 2019 class.

National Signing Day takes place next Wednesday, February 6, and the Hoosiers are really amping up their communication with prospects as of late.
